Hon. Bem Tseen was appointed (effectively from July 7, 2025) as the Acting Executive Secretary of the Teaching Service Board in Benue State by Governor Hyacinth Alia.
In his role, Tseen has shown an active leadership style: he launched a new school session with serial supervisory visits to several secondary schools in Makurdi, encouraged teachers and students to return to school promptly, underscored the importance of teacher dedication, and urged parents to ensure timely resumption for the benefit of students.
Tseen’s appointment is part of the governor’s broader administration agenda to reposition public institutions in the state for better efficiency, accountability, and improved service delivery.
